This exhibition was an exhibit on glass plate photography collections from 19th century that are own and manage by quite a few Indonesian institutions. The collection record Indonesian cultural and natural heritage as captured by explores; archaeologists; anthropologists; architects; and old institutions recording their development through the centuries.
The exhibition was a result of a yearlong networking process done by Tribuana partnering with PDA (Pusat Dokumentasi Arsitektur) with institutions who manages the collections. The institutions are Indonesian (National Museum; National Archive; Archive of Bank Indonesia; Architecture department of Institut Teknologi Bandung; Archive of Bank Mandiri) and Dutch (Troppenmuseum; KITLV), with exhibit hosted by Erasmus Huis Jakarta and Universitas Indonesia. The exhibit accompanied with workshops on photography; pinhole technique and talks on heritage. The exhibit and activities were done in November and December 2013.
